So we stayed out of the way and stayed close at the same time. We were there for their private vows before the ceremony — just the two of them, no audience, no pressure. During the Islamic ceremony we worked several angles quietly, making sure neither of them had to think about where the camera was. Their goal was to be a fly-on-the-wall type videographer, someone who could carefully film their day while not drawing too much attention.
